We are constantly looking to improve the sustainability of our business.

The environmental impact of deciding to celebrate your Christmas with a real tree is significant. A real tree spends around 8 years growing in the field before it is harvested. So instead of being manufactured, a real tree converts CO2 into Oxygen, provides a habitat for wild life, and keeps large tracts of open spaces green across the region. And unlike artificial alternatives, when you are done with a real tree, it is 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable.

The biodegradable tree netting we use to wrap the trees is derived plastic sourced from renewable plants such as corn starch, sugar cane or sugar beet pulp.

Steps we have taken for a greener impact:

  • Choose sustainably grown trees from mainland UK eco-farms
  • Green ‘cargo’ bikes for the majority of our deliveries
  • LED lighting on our pitch
  • Reduce all plastic and opting for recyclable and biodegradable materials where possible
  • Biodegradable netting
